Model 400 three-point pile digger is an agricultural equipment used to dig holes for fence piles, road signs or any other work requiring deep holes on the ground. It is specially designed to be connected to the rear of a tractor or similar vehicle to provide the necessary power for its operation. The 400 three-point rear hole excavator is composed of a heavy steel frame with a gearbox, which connects the auger of the excavator to the power output of the tractor. It has a three-point linkage which is connected to the hydraulic system of the tractor to raise and lower the excavator to the required position. The auger is a helical drill bit that rotates as the tractor engine turns the PTO shaft. As the auger gets deeper and deeper, the rotation of the auger forms a hole in the ground. The 400 three-point back-hole excavator has different configurations and different auger sizes, depending on the operation requirements. Assembly instructions for 400 three-point drill

Step 1: The gearbox of the 3-point rear drilling excavator is transported without lubricant. Fill the top hole with EP90 lubricant or equivalent. The three-point post-drilling digging gearbox can hold 25 ounces (0.7 liters) of fluid. Fill to the bottom of the side plug. Do not overfill as this may damage the seal. Check the oil level every 50 hours of operation. Step 2: Remove the manual and hardware components from manual tank 2. NOTE:Please refer to the following figure for reference when assembling and installing the excavator on the tractor. If the 7/8-inch
diameter traction pin in the "A" frame is too small for the hole in the lift arm, the type 1 to type 2 traction pin can be
replaced or the bushing can be used to obtain the correct fit.
