Roller chains are generally made up of multiple links connected in a ring or with fixed ends. Either type requires connecting links. In addition, when the roller chain has an odd number of links, although transition links can be used, it may cause a decrease in transmission capacity and maximum allowable tension, so it is recommended to design it with an even number of links as much as possible. Also, in general, only anti-rust oil is applied to the connecting links and transition links. When assembling to the main body, apply sufficient lubricating oil to the pins and sleeves.
